Hollywood star and Nashville SC co-owner Reese Witherspoon had the honor of putting the ball onto the field ahead of Saturday night’s Leagues Cup final.
The actress, who came into ownership of the football club in 2022, was present at Geodis Park Stadium as her team played football legend David Beckham’s Inter Miami.
The blonde beauty wore bright yellow and black trainers in a nod to her team’s colors as she carried the soccer ball onto the pitch.
Before kick-off, she shared a moment of good sportsmanship as she posed with her rival Beckham.
While Beckham told Apple TV that he and co-owner Jorge Mas made sure the entire Inter Miami staff was present for the final, Witherspoon brought the star power.

The Hollywood star later posed in the stands with his girlfriend and fellow actress Nicole Kidman
On Instagram, she shared a photo of herself and friend Nicole Kidman posing for a selfie in the stands.
However, she would not have been beaming at half-time when Nashville were 1-0 down for Inter Miami after Lionel Messi’s sensational opener.
The Nashville native joined the ownership group in April 2022 alongside media and technology investor Jim Toth and Tennessee Titans All-Pro running back Derrick Henry.
The trio came on board just five days before the Nashville Soccer Club opened its new home stadium, Geodis Park, where the finals were played on Saturday.
Before the game, Beckham had been on the field with Nashville-based Witherspoon co-owner, NBA star Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Antetokounmpo amused himself ahead of the League Cup final at Messi’s expense by mimicking Cristiano Ronaldo, the Inter Miami star’s biggest rival.

The 1.80-metre-tall Antetokounmpo was hard to miss on the pitch before the league game, giving TV interviews and taking a free-kick from around 30 meters away.
To celebrate his impromptu goal, Antetokounmpo performed the ‘SIU’ pirouette popularized by Ronaldo. The cameras didn’t seem to catch Messi’s reaction but Antetoukounmpo’s brother and teammate Thanasis responded with laughter.
The Antetokounmpo brothers, the sons of a former Nigerian soccer player, were born in Athens and grew up in Greece when the country’s national team won the 2004 European Cup. In fact, Giannis’ eldest brother, Francis, was a professional soccer player, while another brother, Kostas, plays basketball for Fenerbahçe in Istanbul – the same sports club that has won 28 Turkish soccer titles.
But despite his family’s fondness for football, Giannis had only attended a Nashville SC game on Saturday, when Messi and Inter Miami came to town to play for the League Cup title.
