Deacon Phillippe was out with friends in New York City over the weekend.
The 20-year-old New York University student, whose mother is actress and producer Reese Witherspoon, was dressed casually, wearing a black and gray checked jacket and beige pants.
He wore his outer layer over a black crew-neck sweater and wore a black baseball cap.
Deacon wore a pair of black rubber-soled sneakers and also donned a pair of square, black-framed glasses.
The outing comes after Phillippe was called a “nepo baby” after flaunting his expensive West Village apartment online.

Phillippe faced harsh criticism after giving a tour of his expensive apartment in the Big Apple.
Earlier this week, he allowed TikTok star Caleb Simpson to show off the inside of his apartment for his latest video.
But viewers were left dismayed by the size of the sprawling space as the rising star dodged questions about the cost of the rental.
Some assumed the apartment was so grand that his parents, Witherspoon and father Ryan Phillippe, had to foot the bill.
The music student was dubbed a “Nepo baby,” a term that refers to the children of celebrities and other powerful people.
Simpson, who regularly documents the homes of city dwellers, titled his post “Location: West Village.” Occupation: Student,” echoing Deacon.
Viewers were upset that Simpson didn’t realize that Deacon is the son of Hollywood stars.
“Profession: rich,” wrote one mocking commenter.

Someone else described Deacon as a “trust fund baby,” while another urged Simpson to add to his caption that Deacon is “the child of the richest actress in Hollywood.”
Earlier this year, Forbes named Reese the “richest self-made actress” based on her $440 million fortune.
One person who looked into the content said Simpson should have asked Deacon, “How much does Reese Witherspoon pay for your rent?”
Deacon graduated from Mountain High School in June 2022 and began studying music at NYU last fall.
