“Revolution”: Sébastien returns to take revenge

Sébastien Leroux’s momentum ended in the quarter-finals last season, in the unlikely duos. This Sunday he returned to the competition with the firm intention of becoming the first soloist to win revolution.

When Sébastien left the Révolution stage last year, he was determined to take revenge.

“My instinct was to go back straight away. It was a disappointment to be eliminated. I didn’t know if it would still be on its own or in a different format, but I knew I would be back.

This feeling of unfinished experience motivated the young dancer, who had now graduated from high school.

“Revolution is not just about dancing, it is also a global experience in front of the cameras, interacting with the dancers, learning from each other… It also motivates me to continue to educate myself and grow in my art.”

Sébastien doesn’t want to join a dance school for the time being: he’d rather try his luck and become a professional.

“I have a pretty advanced technique, but this season I want to combine that with my artistic side. I think I’ve changed a lot since last year, in my creative approach, in my choreographies. I really pushed the artistic part to the limit.”

His goal now is to prove to the masters that a solo dancer can win the competition. “I’m just aiming for the final. It would be really fun if a solo could win. In the past, duos and trios have won the $100,000, but I’m ready to change that.”
