Ronnie Wood has unveiled his latest painting for sale as a portrait of the Rolling Stones in Cuba.

The 75-year-old guitarist is an avid and talented artist and has created a painting of the band performing on a Havana street.

Sharing the new track on Instagram, he wrote, “Ronnie’s latest portrait of the Rolling Stones sees the band on a Havana street, with Charlie playing a Cuban drum, Mick dancing with vigor and Darryl tossing his fedora!

“The painting shows how the band was inspired and enlivened by the Havana music scene and the people of Cuba as they performed their spectacular free concert for over 500,000 people.”

Another painting is dated March 25, 2016 and showed the setlist of the free concert the band played in Cuba, which was filmed for Havana Moon.

The prints are both signed and are called Stones in Cuba and Havana Setlist and are available.

It comes after it was revealed Ronnie has made a fortune from his incredible paintings as he pocketed over £1million in one year.

He filed new accounts for his art company and revealed he had made a massive profit of £1,437,277 over the past year.

With his work being auctioned around the world, it is the first time his art has surpassed the million pound mark.

Ronnie has created oil paintings and prints of his bandmates and has had exhibitions in London.

He discovered his talent for painting at Ealing Art College in the 1960s alongside fellow artists Freddie Mercury and Pete Townshead.

After rising to fame, Ronnie picked up his paintbrush again in the ’80s.

He previously said: “When I paint, I forget the time. I get engrossed. It is great’.

It comes after The Rolling Stones are reportedly set to release their first album of new music later this year.

The album would be Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie’s first album in 18 years and the first since drummer Charlie Watts’ death two years ago.

After a traumatic year, the trio are said to be looking to the future, according to a source; “They’ve had a hit in recent years, but the show goes on.”

The group, who released Live Kicks in 2004 and A Bigger Bang in 2005, are said to have met for studio sessions in New York for the past two weeks and have been joined by drummer Steve Jordan and bassist Darryl Jones.

A source told The Sun: “After Charlie’s death there was some uncertainty as to what to do next. They had planned stadium dates so hastily, but after that it was not clear what the future held.
