A headless body was found on the shore at Breezy Point Beach in Queens, New York. The tragic discovery was made by a witness who, seeing the dismembered body, called the police.
The hypothesis
The New York police, who are not far from the site, suspect that it is Ross McDonnell, the two-time Emmy winner. The man has been missing for more than two weeks and was last seen leaving his home in Brooklyn on November 4th. A close friend of the Dublin-born director, Gene Gallerano, speculated to the Irish Times that his friend was likely to take a dip in the sea.
Someone also claimed that he may have been spotted on Fort Tilden Beach on the evening of his disappearance, where McDonnell’s bike was found after a few days, the Daily Star reported. The body may have been dismembered by natural phenomena at sea, the New York Post has learned. Investigators are continuing to look for clues that could clarify the matter.
