She admitted her life in the port city is a big contrast to her forthcoming new life abroad.

“No one knows me there, no one has any preconceived notions of who or what I am, no one has any expectations and best of all, no one really cares!” she told the Sydney Morning Herald.

“Singapore was about ‘Roxy who?’ I found it really refreshing and a bit liberating.”

Roxy also said she was ready for a divorce when her husband Oliver moved to Singapore for work reasons.

Her marriage previously came under scrutiny after it was revealed she had sold their family mansion in Sydney’s Vaucluse and closed some of her businesses after Oliver moved to the Southeast Asian country for a job.

Roxy later confirmed that she and Oliver had not broken up and instead decided to move.

Speaking to The Kyle And Jackie O Show, she explained that she had argued with her husband, 37, over his decision to leave, noting that he traveled back and forth between Sydney and Tasmania for years for his previous job .

“Basically I said to Ollie, ‘Look, you’re going to Singapore and I’m staying here.’ And he’s like, ‘Well, I don’t know if that’s going to work.’ And I was like, ‘Well, it has in the last few years worked for five years,” she said.

Roxy recalled Oliver telling her he needed to be based in Singapore for work reasons and personal finances.

“I was like, ‘Okay, then what’s my option?’ He’s like, ‘Oh, we have to get a divorce.’

Surprisingly, Roxy said she was perfectly content with ending her marriage right now.

“I’m fine with that.” So just give me the paperwork, I’ll sign the paperwork so we can get a divorce. You do your job there and I stay here. “And we’ll come by,” she said.

However, Roxy eventually decided against ending the marriage and agreed to relocate the entire family to Singapore for the benefit of Pixie and Hunter.

‘It’s time. They need a father around them, and because he’s never here, he comes [back home to Sydney] about two days at a time,” she explained.

She also blamed her long-distance relationship with Oliver for constantly spoiling her kids with lavish gifts, claiming that she has a hard time saying “no” to her kids when he’s not around.

Roxy later joked that Oliver “probably has a wife in every port,” adding, “But whatever, it’s the year 2023.”
