MOSCOW, May 3 (RHC) – Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday approved a decree introducing new economic measures in response to hostile actions by some countries and international organizations.
The document was published on the official Russian legal information portal under the title “On the use of special economic retaliation measures in connection with unfriendly actions of certain countries and international organizations”.
The new plan prohibits conducting transactions and fulfilling economic and commercial obligations with foreign individuals and legal entities subject to restrictive measures.
Likewise, it suspends the export of raw materials and products from Russia in favor of natural and legal persons subject to sanctions of this country.
According to the text, the decree responds to the unfriendly and illegal acts of the United States, foreign countries and international organizations that have aligned themselves with international law to deprive or restrict the property rights of this country, its citizens and legal entities.
The President ordered federal and state agencies, regional and local governments, and other organizations and individuals under the jurisdiction of Russia to take into account the new bans when conducting their economic and commercial activities with foreign partners.
