“The fire completely destroyed the humanitarian aid for the Odessa region stored in the warehouse,” he said. “There were no Red Cross officials on site at the time of the rocket attack.”

According to the Ukrainian military, attacks were recorded in the Kiev, Kharkiv, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions.

This Monday, an air alert sounded again in Ukraine, the Russians believe in a Ukrainian counteroffensive.

On Victory Day, which will be celebrated tomorrow (Tuesday) (a holiday commemorated in Russia due to the Soviet Union’s victory over Nazi Germany), the Russians have already warned their population of possible Ukrainian attacks. In Zaporizhia, more than 1,600 people have already been evacuated because they believe the Ukrainian counteroffensive has reached the area.

The war, which began on February 24, 2022, has been going on for over a year. This is the result of a story that dates back to the Middle Ages. For most of the 20th century, Russia and Ukraine were part of the same nation, the Soviet Union. With the end of the Cold War, Ukraine became independent but maintained relations with Russia.

In 2014, Ukrainian governments began withdrawing from Moscow, which Vladimir Putin perceived at the time as a threat to Russian interests. Putin began making threats because Kiev has ties to the United States and the European Union, prompting him to invade the country in early 2022 and continue a war that has lasted more than a year.
