Ryan Gosling donned a sharp suit as he accompanied Greta Gerwig at the 39th annual Santa Barbara International Film Festival on Saturday.

The 43-year-old Hollywood actor, who recently reunited with his La La Land co-star Emma Stone at the Golden Globes, was honored with the Kirk Douglas Award at the event at the Ritz-Carlton Bacara.

The star hit the red carpet in a black button-down shirt that was partially open at the top and tucked into the waistband.

He paired the monochrome look with a sleek jacket and slipped on a pair of shiny black shoes for the finishing touch.

Gosling was soon joined by the 40-year-old Barbie director, who turned heads in a sleeveless black dress with dazzling silver floral embellishments throughout.
