Rylan laments that he has “disfigured a Spice Girl” after ruining one of Geri Horner's signature white outfits with makeup stains on her face

Rylan revealed on Instagram on Saturday that he ruined one of Geri Horner's signature white outfits with his foundation.

The 35-year-old presenter filmed the 51-year-old Spice Girl looking upset as she revealed her white jumper had orange make-up stains on one sleeve.

Rylan asked her, 'What did you do?' What is that?' as he brought the camera over to show the marks on her arm.

Geri pretended to be annoyed, but couldn't help but grin as she quipped, “I'm Rylan-ned.”

The people in the back burst into laughter as Rylan wailed: 'Is that my face? I've disfigured a Spice Girl!'

Rylan and Geri have had a close friendship since co-hosting This Morning in 2017.

Geri has now adopted white clothing as her “uniform” in recent years and has rarely been seen in anything colorful since the beginning of 2019.

She used to wear color regularly, but for the past four years she has resorted almost exclusively to a selection of white and cream tones.

She previously explained her decision to wear only white to The Sun in 2021: “Everything becomes very easy.” I like the color and it's like wearing a school uniform as an adult.

“It goes with everything and I literally don't have to think in the morning.” “It's great for busy people – it kind of looks like you've made an effort even though you haven't.”

Geri reiterated to Grazia: “People say I wear cream or white a lot, but I find it so easy.” And it means that when I apply color it feels like a celebration.

“The decisions I make – generally, but not always – reflect very strongly and instinctively where I am at the moment. “It's biological.”

This comes after the singer revealed that she found her 30s to be “the most difficult time” because she felt like she didn't meet all the requirements that everyone else around her met.

Geri remembered feeling like she had found love late and feeling like she was falling behind as she looked around and saw her friends moving on with their lives.

Speaking on the Reign with Josh Smith podcast earlier this month, she shared that her forties ended up being a more fulfilling decade than when she got her “bravery” back.

She said: “I certainly don't have all the answers.” I'm still learning and growing because what happens is you go through different chapters and different challenges in your life and I think when we're younger there's a little bit Teenage bravery that can be faked a little.

“It's almost like a Batman suit, like, 'I'll put on some lipstick and some nice cleavage and we're good to go.' But I think when you're in your late 20s, the bravado starts to wear off, especially in your 30s for me, that was my experience.

“For anyone in their 30s, it was the most difficult time for me because I looked at the world around me and all the other boxes were ticking and I was a little behind when it came to finding love or the whole life plan get that society shows us.” .

“I thought, 'Oh, I haven't quite got this down yet,' and I don't have that brilliant young something going on anymore.”

“I think the thirties were pretty difficult, and if I'm being completely honest, I'd say things evolved in a much more down-to-earth direction when I was in my forties.”

“Because that kind of self-confidence, that youthful courage that is lost in your 30s, comes back in your 40s through life experience.” You think, “You know what, how important is it?”

“They have some perspective and I tell my younger brothers and sisters out there in the world that there is always something new and different. “It's okay to get older, that's what we do.”

Geri further discussed aging, saying she doesn't believe people should ever let their age stop them from achieving their dreams.

A recent experience with Dame Judi Dench has inspired her to return to one of her first loves – acting, which she now wants to pursue.

She said, “Dame Judi Dench, I love her.” She discussed Shakespeare with me and I started talking to her. I was learning a piece from The Merchant of Venice and as I was going through it she started saying to me, “The quality of mercy is not overused.” blah blah.

“And I thought, 'Oh my God, I'm doing Shakespeare with Dame Judi Dench, my life is, my cup is full!' That's pretty amazing. Speaking of acting, the other thing I can share with you or anyone watching is that it's never too late to dream.

“You're allowed to have other dreams because before music I studied English literature and theater and it was a few years ago when I was working on the book but I thought I really wanted to get back into acting.”

“I studied it for quite a while and started applying for auditions. Recently I did some acting too and it was a really positive experience.” It was scary but I'm really glad I did it because it says you're allowed…

“There are so many ways we can marginalize ourselves, whether it's because of our gender, our race or our age.” “I'm on my journey and I'm not doing it perfectly, but we're allowed to grow in different seasons and do different things .”
