Local authorities said he was suspected of being under the influence of a controlled substance and resisted his arrest.

The organization also reacted to this case during the course of Saturday. In a statement, she said Graham appeared to have suffered an epileptic seizure and was disoriented before being taken into custody by local authorities.

The Saints added that the 36-year-old joined his teammates ahead of Sunday’s friendly against the Los Angeles Chargers.

The North Carolina native played 12 seasons in the NFL for four different teams. These are the New Orleans Saints, Seattle Seahawks, Green Bay Packers, and Chicago Bears.

During the offseason, he signed a one-year contract with the Saints, where he spent the first five seasons of his career.
