Samsung One UI 6 (Android 14) on the Galaxy S23: Stable version soon to be released – Frandroid

Everything indicates that we won’t have to wait long until the stable version of Samsung One UI 6 (Android 14) is rolled out to the Galaxy S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra.

Upcoming release of Samsung One UI 6? The future update of Galaxy smartphones based on Android 14 would really not be far from its stable version. In any case, this is what the specialized website SamMobile is developing. As a reminder: In certain countries, the Galaxy S23, S23 Plus and S23 Ultra, among others, have already had access to the beta program for some time.

And recently Samsung released the fifth version of this beta – apart from the few small fixes here and there. Two elements suggest that it really shouldn’t be long before the stable version of One UI 6.0 sees the light of day.

Development is going well

First of all, you should know that in all previous updates to the One UI 6.0 beta, Samsung has taken the trouble to point out the problems that deserve a few patches to fix. However, for the latest version, SamMobile ensures that there is no error mentioned in the changelog that still needs to be fixed.

This suggests that the South Korean manufacturer no longer faces major obstacles before deploying the stable version of One UI 6.

Then it’s good to remember that last year the stable version of Samsung One UI 5 (Android 13) was released after five different betas. Given the progress of One UI 6, there is good reason to hope that development of the new interface will follow the same schedule.

Samsung right after Google?

With some optimism, we can even imagine a global launch of One UI 6 shortly after the launch of Google Pixel 8 in early October. However, keep in mind that the development of Android 14 seems a bit unbelievable.

Google may have fallen behind, but its future smartphones could also be the starting signal for the new operating system. So the whole question is whether these additional delays will affect Samsung or whether the latter is just waiting for the green light from the Mountain View company to pull out all the stops on its part. The flagships Galaxy S23, S23 Plus and S23 Ultra are likely to benefit first.
