A dashcam has captured the moment a frightened driver came across three people in the middle of a motorway late at night.
The footage was captured just before 11pm on Monday evening near Meelon, 105km south of Perth.
It shows the driver approaching a bright traffic light before two men are seen dragging a third person lying in the middle of the road.
Startled, the driver swerved to avoid colliding with the group and stopped when he had overtaken them.

Hundreds of commenters were shocked by the trio's negligence and wondered if the person on the road was injured.
“Three people might as well have been crushed,” said one.
“Did the other car hit this guy?” wrote another.
“Let's just park with the high beams on and no hazard lights on and run onto the dark street on a corner with no reflective elements,” joked another.
“Strange situation. “I would love to know the story behind it,” said a fourth.
“I’m just taking a nap in the middle of the street,” wrote another.
