Despite the horror, the actor coped with the situation and tried to talk to his admirers, a dialogue he always tries to establish.

— I really like the affection of the fans. When I find a group that likes my work, I stop and chat. This business of being unavailable is stupidity and ingratitude. Nothing is fairer than exchanging an idea. “If there is a group of people in the artistic world who remain untouchable, I try to be the opposite of that,” says the 34yearold actor.

Among his more than a million followers on Instagram, some have already sent more daring photos: We open the message thinking it’s one thing, but a disguised photo appears. It’s normal to receive nude photos. I’m coping well with it. I think that’s part of it too.

If Jefinho felt stuck while standing in front of the camera, Micael remembers that he was also nervous in the first moments in the studio:

— I had difficulties. I was a little lost, the first few jobs were tense. The trick is to learn, evolve and become more relaxed to appear more and more natural. Over time we speed up the pace.

15 years ago, Micael began recording “Malhação 2009”, a plot in which the protagonist played Luciano, the actor’s first major role on television. But as the season progressed, the audience turned up their noses at the character, so the girl Marina (Bianca Bin) got another pair. Micael is aware of the rejection and says today that external factors disrupted the then 20yearold’s professional life.

— Many people don’t know, but I went through a very difficult phase. He was a young man from Vidigal, a community that was at war (conflict between drug dealers), and that took a lot of my attention. I wanted to work with a clear head. I couldn’t manage things from outside remembers Micael and explains:

— I was not even tied by the rejection, but by the fact that this moment hindered the development of the work. I wondered what had happened. I felt like I hadn’t taken advantage of the opportunity. I had never done a soap opera before. It was my first job, many things at the same time.

— The fact that I was woken up by the sound of gunfire and had to go outside to record boggled my mind. As I have learned to deal with these issues, I think it is important to have my family close to me. He brought his wife and son to Rio because of “Fuzuê”. If they were in São Paulo (where he lived before the conspiracy), I would have been in a crazy state and wouldn’t have been able to concentrate 100% on what I was doing. Exactly he estimates.

Micael reinvented himself and also started a musical career, which is now on hold because of the soap opera. — I had ups and downs, but I never gave up. I am a musician, composer and actor. I make music for love, regardless of numbers. The artist’s career is unstable, especially financially. You have to think about the future. Keep your head under control so you don’t get blinded and lose focus he emphasizes.
