Heathwood is a familiar face to Brisbane viewers and joined Seven in 2021 after a six-year spell at Nine Queensland.
Blowers has been presenting Seven Brisbane's weekend bulletin for four years now.
Seven announced on Thursday that the new news team will begin duties on Monday, January 29.
The changes come after popular Seven Brisbane newsreader Kendall Gilding left the station last month after 12 years.
According to TV Blackbox, the 32-year-old newsreader left her role “after failing to agree on a new contract.”

Gilding is well known to Queensland viewers and hosts the 4pm newscast every weekday.
She began her journalism career in 2011 as a presenter on Brisbane radio station 96five Family Radio.
She began working for Seven later that year and remained with the channel until her departure in December.
Last year, Gilding revealed that the birth of her second child was eventful.
In October 2022, the TV star gave birth to her son, a baby boy named Moses Morgan, in the shower at the Mater Mother's Hospital in South Brisbane, while her husband Tim Morgan caught the boy as he exited the birth canal.
“I only had three hours of active labor, which is great, and he was born in the shower and Tim was able to catch him,” she told The Courier Mail.
