Shannen Doherty has shared a heartbreaking cancer update with fans.
The former Beverly Hills, 90210 star, who is in the middle of a battle with stage four breast cancer, shared a video on social media showing her receiving radiation therapy.
“On January 12, the first round of radiation took place,” the 52-year-old captioned her Instagram post. “My fear is obvious. I suffer from extreme claustrophobia and a lot has happened in my life.”
The CT scan showed that the “Charmed” alum had brain metastases — a condition that occurs when cancer cells spread from their original site to the brain, according to the Mayo Clinic.
“I’m lucky to have great doctors like Dr. Amin Mirahdi and the amazing technicians at Cedar Sinai,” she continued. “But this fear… The riot….. the timing of it all…. This is what cancer can look like.”
