“Soul Mate is a universal story, a love story that tells of bonds so strong that they transcend all boundaries and that continue to guide our hearts even when they seem to have been severed. But the series is also a journey of rebirth for the protagonists Carlo and Nina. Because you can find (or rediscover) your soulmate when you least expect it…”
Endemol Shine Italy will therefore present on Canale 5 from Wednesday October 11th the new series in 4 100-minute shows in prime time with Daniele Liotti and Chiara Mastalli, directed by Francesco Miccichè.
“Anima Gemella” tells the story of Carlo (Daniele Liotti), a charming and very talented doctor who has not yet gotten over the death of his wife Adele (Valentina Corti) and has been tormenting himself for a long time about not having been able to deal with her save, but thanks to the closeness of Margherita (Alice Torriani), his colleague at the hospital and Adele’s best friend, he managed to overcome his grief and decided to move on and ask Margherita to marry him. Nina (Chiara Mastalli), a chaotic and generous con artist who claims to be a medium thanks to her great talent for imitating voices, will, however, shatter all her certainties.
The cast includes, among others: Alice Torriani, Alice Mangione, Matteo Sintucci, Davide Iacopini, Valentina Corti, Stefano Santospago, Stefano Fregni, Lucia Ceracchi, Roberto Accornero, Anita Kravos, with the participation of Urbano Barberini, Stefania Rocca and Barbara Bouchet.
The series is set in Turin and there are many locations in the city center: Piazza Solferino, Piazza Statuto, Piazza San Carlo, Via Cernaia, the Roman Quadrilatero, the Murazzi and Po rowing clubs, to name a few.
