At night weather point, the center of Tropical Storm Bret was 110 km south-southwest of Martinique. Meteorologists state that the center of the phenomenon is evacuating from the Saint Vincent Channel in the Caribbean Sea.
On the other hand, the effects of the storm are still being felt and more will follow.
We had wind speeds of 70 km/h with gusts of 100, even 140 km/h in the most exposed areas. On the sea side, we observed a maximum wave of up to 10 meters in the Sainte-Lucie channel. The trend that has yet to be confirmed is the start of the slow improvement over the next few hours. The center of the storm is between St. Lucia and St. Vincent and is beginning to approach the Caribbean Sea. It seems that the maximum of wind and waves has been reached. In the next few hours the wind and sea levels will gradually decrease. On the rainy side there is still a good reserve off Martinique in the Atlantic. It can rain well all over Martinique, there are no privileged areas. It will have to be awaited until there is a significant improvement.
