The Montreal Alouettes took advantage of Tom Brady’s retirement to talk about them on Twitter on Wednesday.

The organization’s account published a montage of a fake conversation with the man announcing he was retiring from professional football after 23 seasons in the NFL.
“Hey Tommy, congratulations on your great career, but we don’t think you’re done yet. How many “retweets” would it take to banish this notion of retirement. Come on, play for us!” wrote the Alouettes in an interview.
“Hmmmmmm 12,000 retweets and I’ll make it happen… The Expos in Montreal didn’t work out for me… so why not?!” the seven Super Bowl ring holder reportedly replied.
You can’t blame the Sparrows for “trying their luck” considering Brady recently said he could see himself playing in the Canadian Football League (CFL).
“Hopefully I can play in the CFL at some point and see what I can do up there. [au Canada]because I’m doing pretty well out of the country,” he said during his appearance on the Let’s Go! podcast in November.
It was obviously a joke on the part of the pivot. He made the comment related to his achievements when his team plays outside of the United States. In his career, Brady has won all four games he has played internationally.
