The Caboré Award, the highest honor in the communication, marketing and media industry in Brazil, announced tonight (07) the winners of its 42nd edition.
The highlights were the awards for Heineken, chosen as Advertiser of the Year, Galeria, which won the trophy in the agency category, and Filipe Bartholomeu, chosen as Director of the Communication Industry in this year’s edition.
UOL was one of the finalists. UOL was a finalist in the Best Communication Vehicle Content Producer category. This was the seventh time that UOL was among the nominees in the communications vehicle category and won the owl (as the award trophy is known) in 2018. The category trophy this year went to Globo.
How does the selection work? The nominees in each category of the award are selected by the editors of the newspaper Meio & Mensagem after a consultation process with market leaders and editorial analysis of the developments and recent events involving professionals and companies in the covered segments. The winners were chosen by the newspaper’s subscribers in a PwCaudited poll.
Who were this year’s award winners? The country’s most important companies and professionals in the media, communications and marketing market compete in 14 different categories.
