Amid the TV rights dispute, the Cienciano administrator spoke on behalf of the six non-League 1 clubs and gave details of the meeting that had taken place with the FPF.

This Tuesday, February 7th, was the meeting between the six clubs that did not show up for the start of League 1 and lost by chance due to the dispute that exists with the Peruvian Football Federation (FPF) for the television rights. As previously mentioned, these teams were fined by the Disciplinary Committee and warned that a second WO would mean automatic relegation. Given that Sergio Ludena, Administrator of the Club Cienciano del Cusco, gave details of this meeting, which took place in La Videna.

The representative of the “Papá” group pointed out that the clubs that visited La Videna to meet with the President of the FPF, Agustín Lozano, created a positive sensation. Likewise, various points of view were brought to the table to find the best solution for Peruvian football.

In the same way, Sergio Ludeña confirmed that a new meeting between the parties will take place this Wednesday, February 8th, to reach an agreement and analyze technical issues related to television rights.

“We can’t put forward a position. There’s a good conversation and viewpoints that we want to see putting together,” said the Cienciano administrator.
