Harry and Meghan Markle are invited to the coronation of King Charles III despite accusations against the royal family in the Netflix documentary series Harry & Meghan. The information comes from the website The Mirror.
According to the publication, the monarch says the couple will be welcome at the ceremony in May. The invitation remains, even if there are new allegations.
However, the British press recently reported that Harry and Meghan were not invited to this year’s King Charles Christmas.
The news comes amid a spate of controversy between the couple and the royal family following the release of the second part of the series.
In the new episodes, Harry accused his father of lying and his brother Prince William for yelling at him during a meeting with Queen Elizabeth II to decide the future of Archie, 3, and Lilibet, 1, parents.
King Charles’ youngest son also said the royal family removed the couple’s security guards after the monarch’s departure. The two then moved to the United States and felt unsafe with the paparazzi.
