The actor's wife Christian OliverJessica Klepser, lost her husband and two daughters, Madita Klepser and Annik Klepser, ages 10 and 12, when the three died at the same time after their small plane crashed into the sea. They were on vacation when the plane broke down and took off down in the Caribbean region.
He paid tribute to her on social networks, said he was “deeply saddened” by the multiple losses and said a long goodbye to his name and the name of the family on the page of the company where he works.
“We are deeply saddened by the tragic plane crash on January 4, 2024, which claimed the lives of our beloved family members. Our daughters Madita (12) and Annik (10) were returning from a vacation in the Caribbean with their father Christian when the single-engine plane they were traveling on suffered engine problems and crashed into the sea. Unfortunately, the four passengers on the small plane did not survive.” The statement begins.
“Madita, a vibrant seventh grader at Louis Armstrong Middle School, was known for her lively spirit and excelled in academics, dance, singing and acting. Annik, a fourth-grade student at Wonderland Ave Elementary School, was recognized for her kind but strong demeanor. She was always the first to offer a kind word or a comforting hug. “His passions included basketball, swimming and various art forms,” the post continued.
“In their communities, we will sorely miss the deep connection, infectious laughter and adventurous spirit that Madita and Annik share. The girls are survived by their devoted mother, Jessica Klepser of Los Angeles. They also leave behind their grandparents, several uncles and cousins in Germany,” he adds.
Oliver, born in Germany but with American citizenship, had a distinguished career spanning 15 years; She traveled to the island of St. Lucia with her daughters Madita Klepser and Annik Klepser, ages 10 and 12, and pilot Robert Sachs. The ship took off from James Mitchell Airport in Bequia – area of St. Vincent and the Grenadines – at around 12:00 p.m., but crashed a few minutes later exactly one nautical mile west of Petit Nevis.
