Rex Heuermann, dubbed the “Ogre of Gilgo Beach” by local media, is accused of killing three young women whose bodies were found in Gilgo Beach, Long Island.
Rex Heuermann’s former sister-in-law, Dr. Johanna Ellerup did not hide her surprise in an interview with “NBC News”.
“I hesitate to wish desperately for my niece and nephew’s life to go back to how it was without a father being accused of being a serial killer,” she said. It’s hard for my ego to accept the idea that I looked Rex in the eye and couldn’t see murderous intent.
