La Paz, September 2 (Prensa Latina) President Luis Arce assured today in Tupiza, Potosí that the national government is strong and, with the support and unity of social organizations, will industrialize the country for the benefit of Bolivians.

“With this unity of the Bolivian people and your support, we will naturally move forward and continue the construction of our industrialized Bolivia for the benefit of Bolivian men and women,” the President said.

Arce intervened at the opening of the fifth ordinary expanded meeting of the Single Union Federation of Peasant Workers of Southern Potosí, where he called for a debate.

“You have to debate, you don’t have to be afraid of discussions, of brainstorming, you don’t have to be afraid. In all these discussions, we must remain united, sisters and brothers. The organizations must be united,” he emphasized.

He called for this forum to analyze the economic, political and social situation not only in the jurisdiction of Potosí, but also to assess the national and international context.

“Today, this extension will undoubtedly deepen the debate. “There are many elements,” said the dignitary, “there is a very complicated international situation that affects the whole world, Bolivia is not on the sidelines.”

The head of state stated that his government is making every effort to protect the poorest from inflation.

He recalled that, thanks to the measures taken by the government, this scourge fortunately does not attack the popular sectors since it is controlled by economic policies.

He praised the presence of the departmental and local authorities of Potosí in the expansion, pointing out that the national executive also takes care of supporting social organizations.

He reiterated that his government will always stand by the people and their social organizations, “those who need us (…) and want to work with us,” he concluded.
