Masked Singer judge Dave Hughes reveals the REAL reason Dannii Minogue won’t be returning for the new season
Australian judge Dave ‘Hughesy’ Hughes of Masked Singer has revealed Dannii Minogue’s departure from the franchise.
Hughesy, 51, said on his 2Day FM breakfast show Tuesday he had known Dannii was quitting “for a while”.
The comedian explained that she was leaving due to scheduling conflicts with other TV commitments in the UK.

He also said she is busy with her fashion label.
“Dannii announced that she is leaving Masked Singer due to scheduling conflicts and her fashion label and dating show she is doing in England,” Hughesy said.
The projects mean she has to be in Europe for the coming months, which rules out filming The Masked Singer in Australia.
The celebrity guessing game is set to be flipped on its head in 2022, with Dannii being the second judge to announce her departure from the show.

Comedian Urzila Carlson confirmed on The Kyle and Jackie O Show last week that she won’t be returning this year because she will be too busy with her comedy tour.
It comes after Dannii announced she was “excited” to present a new gay dating show called I Kissed A Boy on BBC Three later this year.
The former X Factor judge has landed her “dream job” as Cupid helping 10 singletons find Mr. Right in Europe.

In the eight-part series, contestants are paired with their strongest match, but “everyone is a possible love interest,” so things can change quickly.
Dannii said: “There are millions of people in the UK who are looking for love.
“And I believe love is for everyone. That’s why I’m so excited that a gay dating show is diving into the sea of other dating shows that have been on TV for years.’

The singer added, “For as long as I can remember I’ve been a staunch ally of the LGBTQ+ community. My close friends know that my dream job title would be Cupid.
“It also gives me that flutter of love inside just to be a part of it. Let’s hope there’s love sealed with a kiss!’
Dannii also shared a casting call on Twitter, adding, “Having the opportunity to be a part of this show gives me this fluttering love feeling.
