Montreal duo Milk & Bone are adding even more to their bow by creating the soundtrack for the video game Atom Eveinspired by a character from the animated series Invincible on Amazon Prime Video.
In the two excerpts released on Tuesday – the title track “Don’t Have Fear” and “Dare To Dream” – we find the electro-pop touch of Camille Poliquin and Laurence Lafond-Beaulne.
Released on November 14th, Atom Eve features a superhero from Invincible, Samantha Eve Wilkins. The animated series is based on comics by Robert Kirkman.
“We put an X on our bucket list. We’ve wanted to make music for a video game for a long time. Creating for a game, a different medium than what we do for Milk & Bone, allows us to work differently. “We have the impression of playing,” the musicians admit.
The duo Milk & Bone, which has created music for the circus, cinema and television, has several albums to its credit: Little Mourning (2015), Deception Bay (2018) and Chrysalism (2022).
The duo is also working on the soundtrack for another video game, which will be available in 2025.
The full Atom Eve soundtrack will be available on December 1st.
