The royal family insists they won’t be thrown off course by the Harry and Meghan Netflix documentary this week.

Contrary to claims that there are “crisis talks” going on behind the scenes and plans to “strike back” on yet another spate of claims and allegations, senior royals plan to take a very “business as usual” approach.

“We will not be thrown off course by gusts from across the Atlantic,” a royal source scathingly told the Chron.

The Mail on Sunday reported yesterday how the King and Queen consort are “tired” of the constant attacks from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Buckingham Palace sources said the spate of complaints Harry and Meghan have been relentless and public about their alleged treatment by members of the royal family has caused “growing frustration and exhaustion”.

The late Queen famously made it clear that “memories can vary” over many of the couple’s claims – and that view hasn’t changed.

There’s a sense of “here we go again” in the royal households over the couple’s new Netflix bombshell “docuseries,” which launch on Thursday.

A slick trailer for the six-part series was released last week and threatened to reveal more details of family difficulties.

But there is hope in the family that the “Sussex squall” will fizzle out by the time the series ends and Harry’s forthcoming memoir is released in January.

“It’s probably going to be a tough couple of weeks, but what on earth can they have to say after that?” asked another insider.

“If they’re not careful and spread the same complaints on talk shows and documentaries, it all becomes pretty much an end-of-the-pier show.

“Surely there will come a time when even they realize they must move on with their lives? I’m sure the rest of the family will want that.”

Indeed, the King and the Queen Consort has a busy week ahead with several significant and long-planned engagements. Tomorrow in Luton, the monarch will meet with community leaders and volunteer organizations that promote interfaith harmony, something he has promoted for over 50 years.

At Luton Town Hall, he will reunite with Festus Akinbusoye, Bedfordshire Police and Crime Inspector, previously supported by his Prince’s Trust.

His Majesty will also visit the newly built Sikh Guru Nanak Gurdwara, speak to volunteers and learn about their programs for the community.

On Wednesday, the Queen Consort will invite seriously and terminally ill children from Helen & Douglas House and Roald Dahl’s Marvelous Children’s Charity to decorate Clarence House’s Christmas tree.

She holds the magical event every year, personally serves sausages and porridge to the youngsters and this year has arranged a surprise visit from Santa Claus and his reindeer. “Their Majesties are moving forward with what is important,” added a source.

Royal sources told The Mail on Sunday that Charles and Camilla are “not concerned but tired” by the Duke and Duchess’ ongoing outbursts.

Since they quit working royals and moved to California, they have criticized the royal family in interviews, including a high-profile show with Oprah Winfrey, and picked up the Netflix series.

Harry reportedly boasted that the Oprah program would be “pretty shocking” for the royals.

During that interview, the couple claimed they had experienced racism within the royal family – a claim disputed by senior royals.

It led to claims that they broke protocol by taking a private photographer into the palace. The incident was reportedly the subject of a written complaint.
