A school assignment sparked a revolt among the parents of American students. The activity asked the student to write a short story on the subject of sexual fantasy. The case happened in a health class at Churchill High School in the US state of Oregon.
According to news channel KEZI 9, a screenshot of the indecent proposal was shared on Facebook. According to Bild, the task asked the students to write a short story with an intimate moment, which should include three of a few items, such as candles, flavored syrup and other objects.
“This is so inappropriate. Does he still have a job?” commented one netizen. “If a grown man asked my daughter to share her sexual fantasies with him, I would get angry and go to the police,” suggested another.
In light of the controversy, school officials said they were aware of the incident and would act immediately to redraft the curriculum for the discipline in question. They also point out that the suggestion was removed from the curriculum and does not count towards the students’ final grade.
On the other hand, the College stressed that at the beginning of each period, the proposals of the subjects taught by the institution are previously presented to the students’ parents.
However, the school principal has already approved a new process to redesign the health curriculum.
