Tina Turner ‘Deserves More’ viral interview, explained
The tributes came from people like Mike Jagger (who Tina called his “wonderful friend”) and Angela Bassett (who played Tina in the 1993 biopic What Love Has Got to Do with It).
Among the photos, performance videos and other memorabilia shared online is a clip from a 1996 60 Minutes interview between the late journalist Mike Wallace and Tina at her French estate.

In the clip, Mike and Tina walk around their property in Nice, France, overlooking the French Riviera.
Although the interview detailed Tina’s life, including her early career and her legendary comeback, Tina’s answer to one of Mike’s questions about her life at home keeps popping up (eg Here and here) in view of her death.
“You feel like you deserve all of this?” Mike asked in reference to her French estate.
“I deserve more,” Tina replied before laughing.
