If Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift ever get married, don't expect them to spend their honeymoon in Niagara Falls.
The pair received a predictably unkind reception at nearby Orchard Park on Sunday as Kelce's Kansas City Chiefs escaped with a 27-24 victory over Buffalo — but not before Swift, Kelce's family and quarterback Patrick Mahomes were taunted by the infamous fan base known as the Bills Mafia.
That's why Kelce celebrated one of his two touchdowns that day by making a “heart” symbol with those hands and pointing up into the crowd.
“I had to spread the love, baby, you always gotta spread that love, baby,” Travis told his brother Jason on their New Heights podcast. “There was a lot of hate outside the stadium… Understandably it's a football game.”
“Has it become a little disrespectful? 1,000 percent. I won't say it [what] Because that's what they want, I won't pass it on. Some things were said about the family, some pretty inappropriate things were said about Pat Mahomes. It was pretty crazy. I understand that I am coming into a hostile environment. I just wanted them to know that it's not mutual… I don't hate you like you hate us. It's all love, baby.'

Things didn't go much better for Mahomes after that.
The reigning Super Bowl MVP had to dodge snowballs on the Chiefs' sideline toward the end of Sunday's victory after days of showers in western New York.
Things might go a little better on Sunday in the AFC Championship, where the Baltimore-based Swifties are desperate to see the pop star as long as his appearance comes with a Chiefs loss.
The top-seeded Ravens host the defending champions for the conference title and a spot in the Super Bowl in February. Although the game itself features a highly anticipated matchup, the prospect of Swift gracing M&T Bank Stadium with her presence in support of Kelce brings a whole different sense of anticipation to some fans.
Some members of Swift's massive fan base told CBS Baltimore that their local ties will take precedence over their musical idol come Sunday afternoon. However, they admitted that it will not be an easy task.
“I bleed purple and black,” said Taylor Swift fan Kayla Keimig. “I’m a die-hard fan.”
“The last time it happened I was in elementary school and I remember these pep rallies and rallies. “I feel like a kid again,” Keimig remembers. “I’m competing against Miss Swift and it doesn’t feel right, but I have to do it.”
“I’m happy that Taylor is here. I hope we see her there. “I hope she has a great time,” added Swiftie Jessica Gehrke. “I hope Baltimore gives her the best hospitality, and then I hope we send her home.”

Swift has been at most of Kelce's games since the pair first sparked dating rumors in September. At Kansas City's playoff win in Buffalo on Sunday, Swift cheered in the VIP suite, where she met Travis' brother Jason and his wife Kylie for the first time.
During the regular season, Kelce met Swift halfway by flying to Argentina during a bye week to watch the 12-time Grammy winner on her Eras Tour. This led Ravens and Swift fan Reina Twellman to believe that Swift will undoubtedly be on cheerleading duty at Sunday's game.
“She will definitely be there to support her husband,” Twellman insisted. “She's so proud of Travis and he's so proud of her. “If he drives all the way to Buenos Aires to see her in concert, she'll definitely come to Baltimore.”

To the delight of its fan base, the NFL has relied heavily on Swift's presence on Chiefs broadcasts. However, the general NFL fan base appears to be divided when it comes to the pop star's impact on the game experience.
Fans in Buffalo showered Swift with boos as she arrived on Sunday. On the other hand, teams like the Denver Broncos used Swift's notoriety to troll the Chiefs.
The Broncos memorably played Swift's 2014 hit “Shake It Off” throughout Empower Field at Mile High after beating Kansas City in October.
The Chiefs' title defense remains on track as they face a serious threat: the Ravens, led by MVP candidate Lamar Jackson. Baltimore led the AFC with a 13-4 record before defeating the Houston Texans in the divisional playoffs.
Baltimore and Kansas City will compete for the AFC title on Sunday at 3 p.m. ET, while the Detroit Lions and San Francisco 49ers will battle for the NFC crown at 6:30 p.m.
