According to the RIA Novosti news agency, the Russian military would have captured a Storm Shadow missile. They refer to the rocket as a “trophy”
The Russian military claims to have captured a nearly intact Storm Shadow missile. Dmitry Rogozin, head of Russian space agency Roscosmos, told Russian news agency RIA Novosti.

Rogozin claimed that the rocket had very high quality electronic components that were not damaged in the accident. The rocket was handed over to experts to examine it. Russia is hoping to get information about how the missile works. Rogozin refers to the rocket as a “trophy”.
Storm Shadow cruise missiles were jointly developed by Great Britain and France, their range is from 250 to 560 kilometers, depending on the modification.

In May, the British Ministry of Defense delivered several “Storm Shadow” cruise missiles. Russia said at the time that the West had crossed the red line with the handover.
