Trump wants to be handcuffed if he has to go to court

Former US President Donald Trump has asked to be handcuffed before appearing in court when he is formally accused of buying the silence of the porn actress he allegedly had sex with.

At least that’s what several sources close to the former president claim, as reported by the British media newspaper “The Guardian”.

According to the report, the 76-year-old man said if he had to go to the authorities to have his fingerprints and a picture taken, he would take the opportunity to put on a “show”.

Handcuffed behind his back, he would happily strut “martyrically” in front of the cameras to project opposition to what he sees as an unfair quest to stifle his 2024 presidential campaign, the sources said.

For his part, Trump’s legal team would have opposed the idea, preferring to go to court without making waves or planning a remote appearance to prevent him from appearing at the scene in person.

If the former president has always denied having a sexual relationship with porn actress Stormy Daniels, he could be charged with a misdemeanor misdemeanor for withholding payment to buy his silence.

These charges could escalate and become criminal if prosecutors believe the crime was intended to cover up a violation of campaign finance rules.
