Two cyclists are dead and 11 seriously injured after being hit by a pickup truck on an Arizona freeway.
Police responded to the scene around 8am on Saturday, where they received a report of several injured cyclists on the Cotton Lane Bridge.
The driver of the van stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police. The Good Year Police Department declined to comment on whether the driver was arrested.
A female cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene and a male cyclist died at a local hospital. The other cyclists were taken to hospital with unknown injuries.
Police have not released the identity of the deceased or other victims.
What caused the crash is unclear. Several closures have been reported as a result.
