Only one person was injured and transported to a hospital, but the SQ said there was no danger to life.
Because the cause of the fire is unknown, the investigation was transferred to the SQ, which dispatched its investigators to analyze the crime scene, protected by a security perimeter.

On Monday, November 7, 2022, firefighters were called to the Boccam factory at 9200 25th Avenue in Saint-Georges de Beauce to fight the fire.
The call came around 6 a.m. as smoke was billowing from the roof of the door and woodwork manufacturer.
According to initial information, it could be industrial machinery. The situation was quickly brought under control.
In Saint-Georges there are three fires in just two days. So far, the Sûreté du Québec has made no connection between the first two events, but an investigation is underway.
