UFC Columbus live broadcast results: Buckle up for the Blades vs. Daucaus mixed martial arts (MMA) event scheduled for TONIGHT (Sat. Mar. 26, 2022) at the National Arena in Columbus, Ohio. The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returns to Columbus, Ohio for the first time in 13 years on Saturday, March 26, 2022, with a significant heavyweight contender battle between Curtis Blades (No. 4) and Chris Daucaus (No. 8), both have won five of their last six matches. In the co-main event of the UFC “Columbus” contender for the second place in the flyweight division Askar Askarovfaces #6-seeded Kai Kara-France in a match with title consequences.

Side kick Fiorot, pure straight left. Check hook. Two minutes left.
More side kicks. Maya enters and Fiorot puts her on the fence. Elbow from Maya at the break. Body kicks from Fiorot. Maya counterattacks right with a minute left. A strong side kick hits her in the stomach and Fjorot follows her with a knee. Another side kick, a riposte to the body from Maya, and Fiorot fires. Maya flips, eats right out the door. 10-9 Fiorot.
Round 2: An early throw puts Fiorot in first place on defense. Calmed down after a minute. Maya turns around with her foot, but she can’t, she stumbles over Fiorot’s knee. Maya tries to jump right on her back and two minutes later she is in the bottom guard. Fiorot remains in place. They exchange shots before Fiorot releases her. Two minutes left.
Right hooks from Fiorot. We continue to land. Another one on the counter. Side kick connects. Drive left into the castle and she knocks Maya down. However, unable to keep her there, Maya kicks her in the head as she gets up. Other check hooks from Fiorot. One minute. Side kick. Clean right hook. Headbutt attempt, side kick, check hook. Maya fails with Superman’s punch. 10-9 Fiorot.
Round 3: Side kick and check-hook from Fiorot. Maya ties her up and puts her on the fence. Fiorot gets underhooks and separates after a minute. Hard straight left, more side kicks, hook test. They trade lefties near the center. Fiorot side kicks and check hook. Two minutes later. Hook blocked. Maya catches a side kick and drags her down, but Fiorot jumps back out with a whistle. They disperse. Nice counter right by Maya with two minutes left.
Attempt to jump with a knee from Fiorot. Check hook. Maya delivers a body shot at halftime. Fiorot side kick and check-hook as she continues to circle. Another check-hook. Looking for a hook, but Maya puts it on the fence. Fiorot changes direction a minute before the end. We continue to catch the check-hook. Low-kicks from Maya, who avoids hitting the wheel and flying knee. Maya presses and tries to open the bell. 10-9 Fiorot.

125 lbs: David Dvorak vs Matheus Nikolaou
Round 1: Dvorak advances, keeping Nikolaou against the fence. A minute later, both men still hadn’t quit. Almost two minutes later, a rapid exchange takes place. Dvorak ahead. Nicolau throws from the right and eats up the counterattack. Two minutes left.
Another good counter straight from Dvorak. Heavy 2-3 from Nicolau on the counterattack. Dvorak enters and Nikolaou shrinks. Each strikes before they part with a minute to go. Dvorak dashes to the right. Low kick connects. Quick exchange inside. Dvořák tries to hit the wheel, eats a jab to the body. 10-9 Dvorak.
Round 2: Good low kick from Dvorak at the beginning. We continue to move forward. Another kick. Instant hit down the stairs in a minute. Nikolaou delivers a low kick and jabs Dvorak in the eye, but Dvorak brushes off the referee. Jabs from Nikolaou, good low kick. A Dvorak countercombo when Nikolaou enters the game. Nicolau rests on the body and two minutes later delivers a strong kick to the calves. An attempted kick to the head. Handcuffed to Dvořák’s right as Nikolaou turns around. Quick replacement in the central cage. Jab Nikolaou to the body, Dvorak counterattack and dribble to the right. Two minutes left.
Good straight from Nikolaou, then another one that lands clean. Jab to the body. Quick exchange, no land is clean. Dvorak’s instant strikes. One minute. Low kick and right cross. A heavy left hook knocks Dvořák hard and sends him to the mat, where he closes the defense. Short shots by Nikolaou. Heavy elbows. 10-9 Nicolau.
Round 3: Two hard left hooks hit Dvorak again. Hard kick. 2-3, dribble to the right, kick, kick to the body. One minute. Fast exchange in the central cage. Dvořák tries to land a takedown but fails, counterattacking. In two minutes. Clean counter right next to Dvorak. Combination inside, negates level change. Hard jab Nicolaou. The uppercut just doesn’t hit. Dvorak low kick, Nikolaou leads from the right. Two minutes left.
Nicolau shoots, he is refused, and he ends up at the bottom. Do nothing on blocking the leg. Dvořák manages to come out on top in defense with a minute left. Throwing blows. Nicolau tries to turn something, but nothing works. Dvořák moves to midfield. 10-9 Dvorak? Nicolau had a great first minute but did very little for the remainder of the round.
Final result: Nicolau def. Dvorak by unanimous decision
145 lbs: Luis Saldana vs. Bruno Souza
Round 1: Souza on the front foot, leading forward to the right. Low kick and jab Saldana. Souza is looking for a counterattack. A blow to the body of Saldana. One minute. 1-2 from Souza and they exchange low kicks. Solid moves and jabs from Saldana so far. Good exchange after Souza catches the hit. In two minutes. He makes a low kick, shoots a counterattack. Nice right cross. Saldana continues to eat away at both sides of the lead leg. Sneaky left hook. Two minutes left.
Low kicks from Souza. He lunges with a score of 1-2. Saldana gets into a clinch, but neither of them comes out clean. Low-kick of Saldana, a blow to the body of Souza. Saldana eats a right hand and turns it into a takedown, immediately looking for a counter punch with a minute left. Souza jumps up, eating his knee along the way. Souza parries another jet shot, but the next blow sends him back to the mat. He jumps to his feet before the bell rings. 10-9 Saldana.
Round 2: Sousa continues to advance. Saldana comes back with a knee to the body, then returns to kicking. A good kick from Sousa is in turn hit by a kick to the head after Saldana swings her spinning fist. Souza counters with a right hand, then eats a left hook a minute later. Low kick lands, followed by a deuce. Body shot, low kick, right hand. Saldana’s well-timed strike strikes the waist from behind. Souza tries to roll out after two minutes, nearly giving up on his back. Awkward place, Saldana is about to slide off the top. Souza drives past, refuses the belt lock again, disperses. Two minutes left.
Check hook from Saldana, avoids the deuce. Souza counters a left hook with a right, then hits Saldana with a knee. Hard left hook and right cross. Low kick from Saldana, his first kick in a long time. In return, he eats a cross stance. One minute. Another right hand of Souza. Saldana lands a body kick and gets hit with another overhand. Saldana’s performance hit rock bottom. Hard 1-2. Another clean cross. 10-9 Souza.
Round 3: Souza goes forward, low kick. Saldana stabs Superman in the cage. A heavy spinning back kick that Souza absorbs. One minute. Souza still hits the right, but lands a cross. Saldana hits a low kick. Spinning back a blow fist. They trade rights in the center cage. Souza sniffs at 1-2, but denies the level change after two minutes. Saldana’s body shot. A hard jab met Souza’s cross. Another body shot from Saldana, who has a better round. Like I said, he almost fell off his feet with his fist. Souza tries to open up and Saldana waves at him before landing another low kick. Two minutes left.
Double to the right of Sousa. Saldana catches the kick, tries the triangle, then avoids the arm on the way up. Strong right shots from Saldana as he waves to Souza. Wheel kick misses, 1-2 does not. Souza comes back with a couple of right hands with a minute left. Sousa makes a good lead on the right and draws. Sneaky Saldana’s elbow in the clinch, Souza hits back hard. 10-9 Saldana; reaches the first round.
Final result: Saldana def. Souza by unanimous decision
