Riccardo Pezzali, President of Profunghi, a company that has been producing and marketing different types of cultivated mushrooms for four generations, is the protagonist of “Boss Incognito”, the docu-reality show hosted by Max Giusti, which airs on Monday January 16th Rai 2 will be broadcast at 9.20 p.m.
Headquartered in San Cesareo, in the province of Rome, Profunghi has 5 production sites around the Castelli Romani – for a total of 13,000 square meters of cultivation area – employs 130 people and produces 50,000 quintals of mushrooms annually. In his adventure in disguise, Riccardo Pezzali will support his collaborators: Duilio will teach him how to prepare the breeding beds, Veronica will take him to a mushroom farm and show him how to collect mushrooms, Sandra will instruct him in the work of mushroom plugging and in the Packing the porcini mushrooms and with Ramona he can prepare the sautéed mixture. Max Giusti, on the other hand, who has slipped into the role of Josè, meets Alina and tries to cut and pack the mushrooms with her.
Boss’s incognito experience allows bosses to work side-by-side with their employees, get to know better who works for them, and discover more from within their organization’s strengths and weaknesses. On the other hand, workers can, without knowing it, make themselves known to their owners, often considered unreachable, but also get to know them personally and not only professionally. Two normally separate and distant worlds have the opportunity to meet and understand each other better.
The workers, busy working with their boss or with Max Giusti (both in disguise), are told – not to make them suspicious – that “Missione lavoro” is being filmed, a new fact that will break the world of Italian entrepreneurship and the Italian work tells in a difficult and challenging time, not only for companies but for the whole country. Only after the week of shooting at the company do the workers find out that they are supported in their work by their boss and partly by Max Giusti, who reveals his true identity.
