Vanessa Feltz berated Boy George for being ‘obnoxious’ and claims he ‘don’t care’ as she smashed the ‘I’m A Celeb’ star

Vanessa Feltz took a swipe at Boy George on Monday morning when she branded him “obnoxious” while appearing on This Morning.

The comment comes as the Culture Club hitmaker returned to screens on Sunday night as a new I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! kicked away.

And during a debriefing of the episode with hosts Holly Willoughby and Phil Schofield, journalist Vanessa claimed he “doesn’t care” and won’t help his housemates, comparing him to pop icon Madonna.

Discussing this year’s group of jungle contestants, Vanessa shared that while many stars will be helping out at camp to help “People Please,” Boy George will not be one of them.

She explained, “I’ve done so much reality TV, so I know how it works, you’re trying to get along with everyone.

“You want people over there to like you, people back home to like you. If you don’t do the dishes at home, you try it there, you get involved.

“Boy George is not that person. The only other person I’ve ever worked with who is like him in that doesn’t give a damn what other people think of him is Madonna. Who can be just as obnoxious is Madonna,” she said of the singer.

Adding, “He doesn’t beep,” when she finished her sentence.

Before going on the show Down Under, Boy George said he got on the show because he was “tired of being an icon in the corner.”

And presenters Ant and Dec, who got a cheeky dig in the first episode, fueled his diva reputation.

Opening the show, Dec said, “What a lineup we have for you this year. There’s the legend that is Boy George. And the big news is, he’s not a showbiz diva these days.

“Did he tell you that?” Ant asked, when Dec replied, “No, his personal assistant told me that because I’m forbidden to speak to him or look him in the eye.”

But it seems he could be quickly humiliated as the star is forced to attend the first bushtucker trial of the season during Monday night’s episode.

The challenge sees Boy George and roommate Chris Moyles locked in a chamber that’s being flushed with ice-cold water, while Olivia Attwood and Scarlette Douglas race against the clock to free them and win stars — and encounter some surprise guests along the way.
