That’s why mom doesn’t want you to sleep with friends where there’s a dad, where there’s a brother in the house,” Varda admits emotionally.
“I’ll always remember his response, which was, Mom, I see. I can’t even imagine what you’ve been through, but at the same time it’s not my story,” she added, on the verge of tears.
