Undoubtedly, the 43-year-old mother is heartbroken at the moment, but was able to console herself a few minutes later when she saw her daughter join the France D'Amour team, which believes they have found the one who will win the 10th season of will win competition. “In a perfect world, it would have been really cool for my mom and I to do The Voice together. It was a disappointment at the time, but my mother was proud of what she did. “I felt sorry for her the most,” said Ange-Élie, who only found out about her mother’s fate after her singing tour.
Already a lot of experience
Although she is still very young, the teenager has a lot of experience. Not only did she appear in the musical Annie – alternating the title role with Kayla Tucker – but she also won first prize at the Saint-Ambroise Song Festival last year.

She also accompanied her mother for a long time, singing Issime in the Quebec show Décembre. Then one day, she and her brother Jean-Augustin took turns sharing a character, so much so that she joined the troupe.
“That's where I grew up, with this gang, it's a super important gang for me. Later I dream of reprising my mother's role because I know it by heart. Behind the scenes, I was making numbers at the same time as her,” Ange-Élie confessed in an interview with the QMI agency.
In her house, music is king. Only his military father doesn't push for the bill. And the tradition of singing goes back so far to grandmother that we hum from mother to daughter at home.
There is no shortage of options for his future, such as medicine and criminology, but for now music seems to want to win in Ange-Élie's heart. She is moving to Montreal this spring and plans to pursue a double DEC in music and science.
