During the meeting, Rau expressed that Poland values and wants to strengthen ties with Vietnam, which he described as an important partner in Southeast Asia, and hoped the two nations would increase cooperation in the fields of information technology, smart cities, green technologies and environmental protection .
At the end of the talks, the foreign ministers presided over the signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding between the diplomatic academies of the two nations.
The head of Poland’s diplomacy arrived here for a two-day official visit during which he is expected to hold a meeting with Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and another with National Assembly (parliament) leaders before returning to his country.
