Cole Caufield always has a smile on his face. He becomes even more brilliant when he scores a goal. But little number 22 had virtually the same smile as he left the Wintgate Test.
In a video shared by the Canadian, Caufield pushed the machine hard with the encouragement of Dale Lablans, the conditioning coach, and Adam Douglas, the director of sports science and performance.
After undergoing surgery on his right shoulder in February, the American had already stated during the team’s golf tournament that he had been 100% recovered for several weeks. He appeared to be in good health during CH examinations in Brossard on Wednesday.
The 72 players invited to the camp took part in medical and physical examinations. With the exception of Carey Price and Christian Dvorak, they will all take the ice starting at 9:30 a.m. Thursday. The first preseason game will take place next Monday, September 25th against the Devils.
