The Dallas Stars scored two goals in the final 13 seconds of the third period on Saturday to win 3-2 against the Predators in Nashville.

The Predators appeared to be headed for a 2-1 win late in the third period when Craig Smith scored the equalizer with 13 seconds left.

Nine seconds later, a hit in traffic by defenseman Jani Hakanpaa sent a second shower of cold water onto Bridgestone Arena, allowing the Texas team to win.

In fact, it was the entire third period that was complicated for Nashville, which led 2-0 after 40 minutes of play thanks to two goals from Mike McCarron and Colton Sissons.
