A two-story residence on the shores of Lac Simon in the Outaouais community of the same name has just found a buyer for $1.1 million.

The owner, Johanne Méthot, purchased this property in July 2009 for $340,000. After living in it for a long time, she recently put it up for sale.

Last May, the residence was advertised by its agent for $1.3 million. He eventually managed to sell it for $1.1 million, 18% below the asking price.

In the most recent three-year municipal assessment roll, this residence was assigned a value of $742,800, an increase of 31% compared to its previous value of $563,200.

In 2024, the municipal taxes on this home will be $5,392. Added to the purchase price for buyers is a transfer tax of $15,502, also payable to the Municipality of Lac-Simon.
