The Simpsons animated comedy series was created by Matt Groening and already has more than 741 episodes divided into 34 seasons. It shows the everyday life of the family led by Homer and Marge Simpson.
They live in the town of Springfield and lead a life very different from that of a traditional family. The father works at the nuclear power plant and tries to do his best to take care of his children. But he is always surprised by the behavior of Bart, a boy who gets into big trouble.
His daughter Lisa is notable for her intelligence and saxophone skills. Little Maggie seems to be a lot smarter than her parents imagine, even though she’s still a baby.
The idea for the series came to Matt Groening in producer James L. Brooks’ waiting room. He had enlisted Matt’s help in creating animated shorts. Back then, Gröning revised his own version, introducing the producer to a dysfunctional family and naming the characters after members of his own family.
