After months of rumors and speculation, Netflix finally admitted they are making a docuseries about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. In fact, they released a very dramatic trailer yesterday, and apparently people are going ~royal circle~. But when aren’t they?
Royal expert Richard Eden told the Chron: “I heard from friends today about Prince William and Catherine and they were frankly disgusted by what was seen in this video.” In particular, they are upset at “the use of William and Catherine and the picture and the manner in which it is presented”.

The photo of William and Kate included in the trailer is from Commonwealth Day (March 2019). It comes after what appeared to be a crying photo of Meghan and right before a clip of Prince Harry saying the line: “I had to do everything I could to protect my family.”
Meanwhile, Eden says the timing of Meghan and Harry’s trailer “couldn’t be worse” as William and Kate are in the middle of their Boston trip. “I think the royal family will be nervously waiting next week to see what’s in it,” he said, adding, “I think there’s going to be a lot of nerves in the palaces tonight.”
Honestly, aside from their inclusion in the trailer, Meghan and Harry haven’t exactly indicated they even plan to open up about their strained relationship with William and Kate. Soooo yeah, I’m not sure there’s a lot for these royal insiders to worry about! In the meantime, Wills and Kate don’t seem to have any plans to meet up with the Sussexes while they’re in the United States for the next few days, so don’t expect a tense group photo anytime soon!
