Will Smith has responded to explosive revelations in his wife Jada Pinkett Smith’s memoir.

On a recent episode of the On Purpose podcast, the host read a letter he received from The Williams Method star in response to revelations the 52-year-old actress revealed in her autobiography Worthy.
“I applaud and honor you,” Will Smith wrote in his letter. If I had read this book 30 years ago, I would definitely have hugged you even more. I start now. Welcome to the authors club. I love you endlessly. Now go get some Merlot and get some rest.”
Jada Pinkett Smith’s autobiography will be released on October 17th. Previously released clips detailed her relationship with late rapper Tupac Shakur, how she overcame suicidal thoughts and revealed that she and Will Smith had been secretly separated for seven years.
Responding to the letter, the American actress emotionally said, “It’s beautiful. That’s why I can’t divorce this joker.”
In another email to The New York Times accompanying a profile of the Girls Trip star, the actor admitted that his memoir made him realize that Jada Pinkett Smith was more resilient, smarter and more compassionate than he was to her had trusted. “When you’ve been with someone for more than half your life, a kind of emotional blindness sets in,” he explained. It is all too easy to lose sensitivity to their hidden nuances and subtle beauties.”
Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith married in 1997 and have two children, Jaden (25) and Willow (22). The “Men in Black” star released his own autobiography, “Will,” in 2021.
