The series is loosely inspired by the true story of a woman named Andrea Kulberg, an American who crossed the pond to teach British teenagers how to cheerlead.
Witherspoon will portray a former cheerleader from Daytona Beach, Fla., who “sneaks across the pond to teach cheerleading at a school on the coast of England.”
She uses her old cheerleading skills to turn a ragtag group of British kids into all-stars.
