A month after the attack in Brooklyn, another murder: the victim was shot in the chest. The police are looking for the killer

A man has died on the New York subway. The news was reported by The New York Times: The victim, whose identity police have not provided, was shot in the chest around 11:40 a.m. local time (5:40 p.m. Italian time) in Manhattan on Sunday morning, May 22. The man was traveling north on the Q line. The incident happened near Canal Street. The attacker would have fled to the surface and was wanted by the police.

The alert level in New York remains high. On April 12 alone, ten people were injured in a shooting, again on the subway, this time in Brooklyn. The attack took place at the 36th Street station in Sunset Park, where the D, N, and R trains intersect, about 15 minutes from Manhattan. The next day, the suspect was identified: a 62-year-old African American man from Philadelphia named Frank R. James.
