André Marques buys a BRL 280,000 car to travel with his meat shop

André Marques, 42, already has plans after leaving Rede Globo, where he worked for 27 years. To invest even more in his business, the presenter bought a BRL 280,000 car to travel around the country with his meat business.

In a post on Instagram, André shared a video of the car, a Mitsubishi L200 Triton Sport Pickup, which already appears with the meat boutique logo. “Wake up, kid. dad is there It’s almost there! Not for long. Anxious…world, here I come. Shall we cook with me?” he commented.

According to information from the daily newspaper Extra, in addition to the inclusion of content for the Internet, trips to discover new cuisines and cultures are also planned. André Marques has owned Premium since 2013. The company has units in Barra da Tijuca and Leblon, both in Rio de Janeiro. He often presents the dishes prepared in the restaurants on his social media.

“I have traveled the world. I got acquainted with different types of meat, tasted it, tasted it, read it. I went to Disney’s New York Foodie World just to try different meats. I know exactly what I’m selling and who I’m going to sell it to,” he said in an interview with Jornal do Recreio at the inauguration.

Future in the kitchen?

In his TV Globo farewell text, the actor made it clear that his passion for cooking will be part of his new projects. “I will cook for this Brazil and for the world,” he said.

In an interview with Gshow published in 2019, André Marques, who has never pursued this activity professionally, said that the custom of cooking has existed since childhood.

“Actually, love is pleasing others. When I’m home alone, I eat instant noodles and go to sleep. I like to cook for others, see a full house,” he joked.

André Marques says he got even more involved in 2014 when he won season three of Super Chef Celebridades, a feature of Mais Você.

Farewell to André Marques from Globo

In 2002 he made his debut as a presenter on the “Video Show”. He hosted “Superstar” (2014 and 2015), replaced Ana Maria Braga in “Mais Você” and later directed “The Voice Kids”, “The Voice Brasil”, “No Limite” and “The Voice +”.

In October 2021, Globo announced that André Marques would no longer be the presenter of “No Limite” in 2022, which will now be helmed by Fernando Fernandes.

It’s worth noting that André Marques apparently didn’t please fans of the reality show in the 2021 edition, which marked the return of the program and brought together exBBBs. The criticism was so great that the name of the show’s host landed in Twitter’s Trending Topics.

André Marques also had to replace Tiago Leifert in the edition of “The Voice Brasil” at the end of 2021. Tiago recorded the first phase of the competition but left the show for “personal reasons”.
